24 / 7

We have all heard the sounds of an alarm in the distance and ignored it or dismissed it. This is why our customers use back to base monitoring as an extra layer of security.

How does it work

Your alarm system is connected to your phone line or in 99% of cases with the introduction of the NBN, a GPRS/GSM dialler. This sends signals directly from your alarm panel to the control room. The control room operators are able to see what type of alarm is coming through and action according to the instructions you have set up at the time of commissioning.

If you have back to base monitoring for your business you can set open/close times and be informed if the alarm has not been armed by a certain time or if your alarm is being disarmed outside of usual trading hours.

In the event of

  • Alarm activations
  • Low batteries
  • Tampers
  • Power failures
  • Panic alarms
  • Failing equipment

Our A1 graded control room will contact the nominated keyholders to advise them of what activations they are receiving. From this point a patrol car can be sent out to carry out an external search of the property. If a break – in has occurred the patrol car will stay on the premises until the police have arrived.
